At City Language School we like to encourage our students to get out, about and practice their English while discovering more about the great city and country they live in. Every Thursday we publish Three This Thursday – events or happenings that we believe our students might enjoy. This week we think you should go and see some works in clay, take some time to and maybe.

Ceramics Ireland Annual Members Exhibition 2020 – Clay/Works @ The Printworks Event & Exhibition Centre, Dublin Castle – FREE – Dublin 2

This is just a five minute walk from the school and should be well worth ths visit. Clay/Works will feature the work of established potters and sculptors as well as emerging talent. This annual exhibition celebrates the work of over eighty artists from the four corners of the country. The diverse range of ceramic work includes functional, decorative, wall panels and sculptural forms; there will be something to interest everyone in this exhibition of over 250 pieces.

Roman Fever in the Park – Bewley’s Café Theatre presents this free outdoor socially distanced performance @ St Stephen’s Green, Dublin. St Stephen’s Green until Sunday 30th August

Roman Fever is a comedy set in an afternoon in Rome. The theatre itself is outdoors…in St Stephen’s Green and since staring a few weeks ago it has been getting rave reviews.
