What\’s going on in Dublin this week? At City Language School English School Dublin we \’recommend culture\’ and we let our students know what’s going on in the great city (aka town). This week we have a look at three events that are happening near Dublin City Centre and further afield over the next few days.

Winter Print Fair, National Print Museum, Haddington Rd, Dublin 4 – Sat 30th Nov – Sun 1st December -11 – 4pm – FREE

Following the success of last year\’s launch the National Print Museum are delighted to invite you to the second annual Fair. The mezzanine level of the museum will showcase a curated group of artists working within the diverse media of print, while the entrance level will feature a selection of artists working in print-associated crafts. It\’s a great weekend to pick up lovely gifts for others or for yourself with festive printing activities for all to enjoy…and there are also a good selection of pubs to go to after including The Beggar\’s Bush and The Bath.

PLASTIC at Science Gallery Dublin – until 9th of February 2020 – Pearse Street, Dublin 2 – FREE

First of all, just look at the website for this event. The guys at the Science Gallery have a well-deserved reputation for putting on the best single exhibitions in the country. They are always engaging and always ask us to think. This time around, they are asking whether we can live with plastic; the material that over the last while has come in for a lot of criticism. It is a fascinating exhibition and deserving of your attention.

Palestrina Choir – Advent Carol Service – Pro Cathedral, Dublin 1 – FREE

SO Christmas is on its way and there is no better way of getting into the spirit of Christmas than going along to see a live choir in a church. It doesn\’t matter if you are relgious or not, this event will be uplifting. The annual Advent Carol Service take place this coming Sunday at 7.30pm and it promises to be a cracker!
