You cannot miss the Kilmainhan Gaol Museum when staying in Dublin. Although not a prison anymore, the past and history of this place still amazes. The Kilmainhan Gaol was operational during some trouble times like the Irish Civil War or the Anglo-Irish War, where British troops guarded the place.  Kilmainham Gaol held some of the most famous political and military leaders in Irish history. Now the museum, full of  interesting stories to be heard.
