DCU (Dublin City University) is a state of the art facility in North Dublin with  a large swimming pool, all-weather sports pitches, tennis courts, theatre, dance studios and ultra-modern classrooms. DCU offers on-campus accommodation and is a safe, monitored environment in which to spend long and lovely Irish summer evenings making new friends and speaking English.

We offer two Experiences at DCU.

The City Experience: The Dubliner is an immersion in Ireland’s exciting capital. Dublin was recently voted the second friendliest city in the world by Rough Guides. The Dubliner is a mix of tours to galleries and special landmarks such as Trinity College, St Patrick’s Cathedral. We will show the venues where bands like U2 and singers such as Niall Horan first performed and you will experience city’s beautiful beaches and enormous parks. Above all, Dublin is great fun and we know you will enjoy your time with Oscars Juniors.

The Apprentice Experience   offers students who are thinking of becoming entrepreneurs or business people the chance to create projects of their own. We dedicate six hours per week to the creation of your ideas. As part of the Apprentice Experience we visit well-known Irish and international businesses who are based in Dublin.

Castleknock College has a long history with rugby so it is the perfect place to tackle our Sport Experience:Rugby. Whether you are starting or you want to improve your skills we have expert coaches just for you. Our aim is to enhance your experience of both playing and watching this complex but thoroughly compelling sport.

Our Original Experience is a popular choice with students and really is the ultimate summer camp experience. At City Language School we mix English lessons with half-day and full-day excursions in around Dublin. With lots of competitions, dance classes, arts and crafts and games, your time at Castleknock is full of stimulating activities which will help you to improve the  English you learnt in the morning classes.
