DeBarra\’s Folk Club, Every Night
DeBarra\’s is a small local bar in Clonakility, Cork. It has always been a champion of Irish music and in lockdown it is trying its best to stay true to its ethos. Every night a new performer takes to the stage (in the garden) and performs live for the pub\’s legions of Facebook followers. You can join them right here this Saturday from 9.30pm for a concert with well-known Irish act Jinx Lennon.
Nialler 9\’s Music Quiz
Nialler 9 is famous in Ireland as a top-class DJ and a promoter of great music. The guy is dedicated to his work and has been for well over a decade (if not longer). Every week, the living legend hosts an online quiz using your favourite quiz tool – Kahoot. Join him on Saturday and see how much you know about music.
Draw like Andy Warhol – Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh
For this week\’s international choice, we are going all the way to the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. The museum is closed of course but it has opened up some interesting insights into Warhol and his art. ONe of them is this short video on Warhol\’s Blotted Line Technique. It\’s nice.
