There is lots to do in Dublin this weekend. At City Language School English School Dublin we \’recommend culture\’ and we let our students know what’s going on in the great city (aka town). This week we have a look at three events that are happening near Dublin City Centre and further afield over the next few days.
Lots to do in Dublin this Weekend
HALFTONE – from now until Sunday 1st December – The Library Project, Temple Bar, Dublin 2 – FREE
HALFTONE displays a large selection of works by established and emerging artists, showcasing Ireland’s exciting art scene. Some is good, some is great but it\’s all rather interesting and colourful.

Food for the Curious: Fermented Edition – The Chocolate Factory, 26 Kings Inn Street, Dublin 1 – Friday 15th @7pm – €12 per person
This event is part of Science Week and it brings together food makers, tasters and scientists who will explore and explain the latest trends in fermented foods.
From Sauerkraut to Keifir, Kimchi and Komboucha fermented foods are making a fashionable comeback. Apparently the fermentation process promotes all sorts of ‘good’ bacteria which helps digestive health, mood, behaviour and your immune system.
Tickets include a selection of tasty fermented tapas. Go along. You\’ll be pickled pink.
Dublin Salsa Class – Sunday, Nov 17th – The Mezz, Temple Bar – 4.30pm FREE
An amazing opportunity to learn Salsa from a Cuban native and teachers trained by him. The Dublin Salsa Academy has been around since 2015 and this week it is offering you this wonderful opportunity to get a taste of one of Cuba for free. They say there is \”no partner needed, just your energy\”. It sounds like fun and a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
