Daria City Language School

Daria Delighted with Dublin

Daria from Italy came to study with us in Dublin for six weeks. When she finished her course, we sat down with her to get her thoughts on the Irish capital and her time with us at the school.

What did you think of Dublin?

I didn\’t like the weather so much but it is a very nice city. I like Dublin Castle and Trinity College, they are nice places to see but I liked the city and how it looks. I like the people in Dublin because they are really friendly. If you have a problem, people will help you. It\’s very good. I would recommend Dublin to my friends and the school. For me it has been a very nice experience.

Tell us a little about your host family

I live in a beautiful house with a woman named Sandra and I share my room with a Belgian girl named Pauline. The house is very nice and we even have a little dog named Charlie. It is in Balinteer so it is close to the city centre, about fifteen minutes from the city centre. There is a lovely park beside my home called Marlay Park. It is very big and it\’s a great place to spend some time with people in the evening.

What is that you like about the school?

I like the school because there are a lot of foreign people. I met a lot of people from all over the world so I share my time with a lot of people. That is good for my English but also for my (life) experience.
